Try to Start BF2 a Second Time and Get Error message

Help Please!

If I play BF2,quit and come back and try to reload the game to play some more, I get an error message and the game won't load. I have to reboot my computer to get the game to load, which is a major league pain in the ass.

The message: BF2.exe has encountered a problem...blah,blah,blah.

Any ideas?

If no one has any ideas as to what my problem is, does anyone have any idea where I might find some answers? I tried EA but I can log on.

do you have any emulation on? If so, turn it all off. Happens to me too, and that's how I took care of it.

Thank you, thank you, thank you. Yes I had emulation software on. I had been trying to use it to start BF2 without the disk--never did get it to work--and left the emulation on. I turned it off, and am back in business.
