Re: What you hope will be in the next patch
Hehe, personally, I don't mind assault as it is. I can tool around with the Grenade launcher, and people don't bitch when I slam them with it (well, not them, but the wall they were leaning on). If it gets buffed, which I wouldn't mind, then people would claim that the grenade which pounced them for sitting in a corner was my being noobish, not them being nincompoops.
Watch Black Hawk Down, people. "Don't go near the walls!"
However, more clips for the G3 would be really nice. Love that gun, hate running out of ammo after five engagements. Usually drop it for the AK once it runs out, since the F2000 glitches ****ed me off.
You know what would be cool? Rifle grenades for the G3. Just saying...
Oh, and the grenades bouncing off vehicles does need to stop. 40mm HE should say "No!" to DPVs trying to bull rush you.

and after AF comes out it's done. I'd much, much rather see them focusing on 2142 adding depth to the game, and making a much more destructible environment with improved physics and object AI. If I can't kill a spawn camping Mech hiding around the corner I want to be able to blast a big chunk of roof off the building so it crushes the damn thing. Since they decided to add stuff like Mech's then they should add partial damage so Instead of it being fully functional and deadly until all health bars are gone, why doesn't degraded performance happen? Or say one arm can be blown off and it's somewhat still battle capable? Or break the legs and it can still shoot but not move until repaired. It's little details like that I want to see. EA (DICE) is huge with deep pockets. If Crysis is coming out with individual leaves affected by bullets and trees with complex AI, then DICE should be licensing the CryTech2 engine to use.
