Need help with video card decision

Alright I'm running an

Intel D685GBF
2.00GB RAM (four sticks of 512MB Kingston)
120GB SATA Harddrive (Western Digital)
400W power supply (Hercules? Only details I could find)
Radeon 9800pro 128mb (ATI)

I would love to run an Nvida 7800GT, but I can't find anything that says my board supports PCI-E. Unless I'm too ignorant to notice it.

So, what would be a good AGP?

Note: keep video cards under $400. And no I'm not going to go about buliding a new computer. Maybe replace parts, but not the whole thing.

Go for the 7800GS its 284 dollars but you can for sure but all your settings on high with 2 gigs of ram. For that card you need a minumam of 350 Watt powersupply. You have 400 so you are fine. But if you feel the card is heating up to much go get a better powersupply. Possibly Antec for a good psu to last you some time.

7800gs is top-of-line for agp.

x850xt series > 6800gs <> x800xt aren't bad, either, but the radeons (sob) won't do hdr.

and yup, you def have agp; 9800 never came out in pci-e, and only a very, very few mobo's have both agp and pci-e slots.

so, yes go with the 7800GS it is your best choice and so far is the best agp card out today.

I'm baffled at the fact that the DFI board has gotten such bad reviews on newegg lately though.

Of course it's up to you, but IMO dumping money into a dead interface is a waste.
