Ranking System??

20,000 Global Points Required:

I noticed that on the site that you only need 20,000 GP and I have over 26,000 with all be badges plus some with vet status. I only play on rank servers but for some reason I cant seem to go up rank to 1st Sergeant. I have been maxed out for awhile now so have they changed the ranking system?? :)

Are you a Master sergeant? It might be that you didn't had all the badges someone could explain it to me in this topic? Already used the search button there are TONS of threads about this subject..

If you are a Master Sergeant, you will never be a 1st Sergeant.

You can quote me on that....in fact I may even put it in my signature, since it is asked about so much.

you are either master or 1st you cannot be both if u havent got the badges before u get to 20,000 u will spend the next 30000 as master

You can get either MSgt or 1stSgt but not both. There was a bug/error/whatever a while back. If you recieved your veteran pistol badge (without getting your basic pistol first) or veteran knife (without getting your basic knife first), it messed up any chance of you getting 1stSgt. Many (including myself) are in this group.

Edit: I had 20k (and everything at the time I got promoted)...still MSgt.

Its not a bug, its just if you do no have the required awards upon reaching 20,000 you receive the lower rank. Even obtaining the awards after hitting 20k will not see your rank change until you reach 50,000.

you need to aquire all veteran badges before reaching 20,000 points if you didn't thn sorry you missed the boat.

i press post at around 7:30 i come home and its still loading wow
