Bring back the navy??idea!

Regarding Mods,add on or packs i think the addition of a navy eg.battleships,detroyers,and patrol boat would make bf2 the best as a mod it would be the best as i think it could balance some airpower issues,but also visa -virsa with the ships having AA

SO modders listen up u could rule with this idea

BUT i do remember a while back someone said the engine could not handle this(boat adds) or subs

what do u think would u like to pilot a destroyer with big guns ,transport,AA capabilities

or if u fly u could take one out with bombs

is this mod possable?is LAG a issue?bf42 was fine:hmm: so what goes?

In the frist place there was supossesd to be a landing craft but the game code dosent allow for objects to be on a moving object. aka y ppl fall trough tanks and get tked.srry dude

I don't think it's possible with this engine.

However, imagine a map where the MEC or PLA have a land base with some bombers and fighters, and they have to take off and destroy a US carrier battle group, which has F-35's and F-18's for defense, and destroyers and frigates with AA capabilities. That would be fun.

The Navy aspect was fun until some dude sailed the carrier off the map or the military genius who beaches the battleship

I think thats why BF2 doesn't have the movable ships but I could be wrong

Yean anything Navy would be cool! On the maps with the ocean they could put ships off the coast that you could control their cannons. Plus folks could board small boats to go to ashore. Also ?? where do you guys get small screens from that show your stats so forth??
