    soldier colors

This is not to be a racist comment at all nor is it really important but would be nice to know what decides weather your white or black soldier? is it the team your on? is it random? is it the kit you play? or will you just reply to this thread with mean comments?

I think the Spec Ops, Engineer, Medic, and sniper are white. Assault, anti tank and support are black

Yep, the soldiers with armour are black and without armour are white. I expect its simply a case of having to have 2 model shapes (with and without armour) and they just choose to save time (and money) making more then 2 models by grouping colors and armour types.

Also, they need the stonger ones to carry the heavy weapons.

                      Re: soldier colors

If you happen to be a 'white' soldier, then pick up an assault kit, support or AT, you still are a 'white' soldier with that kit. Vice versa with the 'black' soldier. So its not uncommon to see a 'black' medic, or a 'white' support.

                      cheers

Actually, I have started to see a lot of black medics on the field. I have not spotted any Spec or Support though. I was thinking something was changed in the last patch that was not announced or there were was a lot more kit pickups occuring.

I saw several months ago over at PBF a long, long thread about this. There was something in one of the config files that can change this setting, but the thread got locked (I think deleted) because it degraded into a racial flamefest...not like that would ever happen here.

hahaha knock on wood, so you could actually change weather you were black or white in your own settings?
