Populated server with custom maps

I just found it tonight. I was on for 2 secs and then it switched to a map I don't have yet, so now I'm downloading more. Anyways, with me included, it had about 9 people, but if total bf2 people start visiting then it may get more populated. It only holds 20, but I don't think thats a problem. Here's the server info:

Please play on it, its the only server I could find that had custom maps and a fair amount of people.

im dowloading that map now, but i dont think i have Taiming either. where did u gt those maps?

Taiming is from the map pack 1 i believe. And mountaincity is a .rar file, so u basically have to pay in order to unpack and use it. I'm still trying to find free software that can unrar it.:hmm:

so i guess i should stop dling it now? im not gonna pay for a map (lol this comming from someone who bought EF lol) i guess il just wait until the map switches. was it 1 round rotation? how did u find that server anyway?

I just looked for maps that are in the map pack at game-monitor.com and found this one.

There is not a free unrar program out there, so yeah, in order to play mountaincity, you would have to pay for a unrar program which runs about $13. I'd buy EF before I bought some unrar program that I'll use once for some random map. Maybe if we can get in on a map we have, we can convince them to put mountaincity out of rotation.

WTF!!!! it won't let me join. i have dled and installed all 3 mpa packs, but it says i dont have berlin. HELP!

Same here, and it didn't work for me either. It worked for Taiming, but not for berlin. Beats me.

i went to that site and found several servers playing maps i had, but all of them siad that i either couldnt connect or that i didnt have the map, but i did

Yeah, that server is empty now, and it had some weird maps in the lineup. Arab-hide-out and operation_nightshift; stuff not even in totalbf2's downloads.

Winrar is free as is winzip. Both should work to unpack the map. I myself use winrar. You can even use winrar to make installers!
