I still can't even get my veteran repair badge

Back when BH whoring was possible, the most I ever got was 9 repair points in the round. I was so ****ed all I needed was 1 more for my badge.

"too much room for exploitation" my foot.

Give me a break, people. The people who illegaly stat pad the most either play as support or medic. It's so simple to get teamwork points with those two classes that it's silly. Lowering the amount of time required to repair an asset (or rewarding the engineer with extra points) is not really going to change much.

(and no, I don't think they should get points for repairing unmanned vehicles)

How about this... instead of wrenching away at a vehicle, why doesn't the engineer just drop a magic bag of engineering goodness nearby? The vehicle could run over it like a power-up and the engineer gets a point! :p

Give engineers points for disabling mines, and repairing fixed assets that are unoccupied, like Stinger sites, MG positions, etc.

Also, give engineers 1 point for every 50% of any occupied friendly vehicle's health they restore.

              Re: Repair Points?

Engineers need to be able to get more than one point for every 30 minutes of repairs, that's the most frustrating part you can wrench on 5 different things for 5 minutes and only get one point.

Engie's are the red headed step child of the game IMO. I've been playing it exclusively the last month or so to get my 100 hours and I gotta say it's tough. You sit back and repair a tank while your entire squad moves forward. By the time your done your squads to far to catch up. Repairing a tank while fight another is risking your e-life but most people do it anyway.

As for exploiting, a medic running around the entire game dropping packs is not technically exploiting? So what if the idiot keeps tossing nades into a jeep to repair it and get a point...eventually he'll run out of grenades.

My question now is: How can we make such a hoopla that EA/DICE will hear the engies and change it?

Its not meant to be easy. Its part of the game and the challege. I think its fine as it is.

                      Re: Repair Points?

No. I think they should just get like 2 points for repairing stuff. If meds can get two for reviving peeps; why not let engineers get 2 points for repairing stuff that has more than 75% damage?
