    Speedy Mines!

I did this while playing in a scrim last week, and it worked really well.

Say that you're an engineer and you're putting down a strip of mines to prevent anyone from going through at the beginning (ramp on sharqi as USMC for example). Now the problem is, no one comes up the ramp and your mines are now useless.

The thing you can do is what i call "wrench them up". Lay a mine, then "repair" it until its 95% completely removed. At the round start you can usually set them all down, wrench them up, and still be safe from the enemies who are still at the spawn.

Now you can pick up your mines to reload in approx 10% of the time when there is a chance of enemies picking you off.

If this tip saves one guy from dying with a wrench in his hands, or gets someone some AT kills than I'll be glad.

I know this is more of a scrim tactic than a pub one, but i thought I'd share it nonetheless.

So you're only removing mines that are still lethal when youre dead, only because you think youre going to die? All for a possible at-kill or something?

        I'd rather leave em down.

You're not removing anything, just making it a hell of a lot faster if you want to pick them up and relocate them.
