Can you spawn on a dead squad leader?

Nub question: Can you spawn on a dead squad leader?

Last night, I could has sworn I killed a guy, only to have someone pop-up right next to him. We were not at a flag or near a spawn-point so I know it was his squad member.

During the "you are wounded" state, can you still spawn on your squadleader? Or is there some kind of delay?

Perhaps I was just laggy and didn't notice the guy pop into existance until after I killed the squadleader???

No you can't spawn on a dead Squad Leader...there is a little red circle around the green circle to symbolize they are dead.

how can you have over 1,000 posts on a BF2 forum but yet not know that you can't spawn on a dead SL.. :laugh:

maybe the squad leader was near the body, somewhere hidden maybe.
