As you all know, fraps lowers down the fps and thus become more lag. I record a 64 players battlerecorder in medium and it lags. Is there anyway to reduces this lag or does it means that i need to buy a new graphics card.

Re: Need help about recording with fraps
There is the answer. Get 2GB of ram you'll run it fine on a 64 player server. I do.

Re: Need help about recording with fraps
You can also try selecting the custom FPS in the movies tab on fraps and throw it up to 100. I noticed doing this gets a more fluid video and ups the cutdown on fps about 10 or so. But thats after you get more ram :p

Re: Need help about recording with fraps
With so little RAM, I would recommend you stay away from trying to make high-quality BF2 videos. From the sound of it, it seems like you can barely run BF2 on all high, let alone film it using Fraps.

Yep, i run all low in mutiplayer or else it will be lagging non-stop.
By the way, how do i know my graphics card is AGP or PCIE?
EDIT: Heres my graphics card

Re: Need help about recording with fraps
Im going to guess AGP, since its a pretty old system..
If you want to get good fraps footage, you also need a better graphics card (maybe even a better processor :/ )
But the best bet is to just use www.battlelauncher.com if you want to make high quality videos
