Sniper prone moves up and down

Something i have not seen anyone mentioned, is that when i am sniping sometimes when i see another enemy sniper and he's prone i try to get a head shot if he's far away is a bit hard, and it looks like he's going up and down a bit, anyone notice this before.

Yes, I've seen this. It only happens when there is a medic lying directly under him. Snipers have all the fun.

Yes, I've seen this. It only happens when there is a medic lying directly under him. Snipers have all the fun.

I've seen it when their is nobody near him. I think it happens when he is lying on uneven terrain or his entire body is not on a surface (like if his legs are hanging off the side of a building).
