Vehicle/Kit Time

Not sure if this has been covered before. I did a search and didn't find what I was looking for.

Anyway, say I'm an engineer and I'm driving a tank. Say I'm alive for 5 minutes. Did I just get 5 minutes for armor and 5 minutes for engineer, or just 5 minutes for armor plus a few seconds for engineer running to the tank?

I like getting the awards, but I need an insane amount of hours in a lot of vehicles (not to mention the 100 hours in all the kits for expert) so I'm hoping that the times run concurrently otherwise I'll never finish.

Your kit time is counted along with your vehicle time.

Your vehicle kills are also counted towards your kit, which is the only reason some of my kits have positive K/D ratios

Thanks, I knew about the kills counting for the kit (easy/cheap way to get expert badges) but I didn't know if the time was concurrent. Now this thread can die off to the archives or where-ever dead threads go.
