I have been on all of the best mods out there since bf42 and i like all of them from opk to fh on bf42 dc on bf42 naw on bf2 there great additions to the game to me the vanilla game sucks. The addition of these mods give me a new vigor to play the game otherwise it would be of my harddrive . EA have sent out a game thats buggy to hell and hotfixes follow you lok at some of the better mods out there and they sorta get it right in one fix naw has some bug as does opk and usi but having said that there betas so what do you expect and they dont get the whacking wages dice do so all in all there good even great like compared to dice and ea.


Look at vanilla bf2 and see theres maps that are good and maps that suck Euro force was a disaster to me buggy rubbish maps and EA have more at there finger tips than the modding community yet they bring out that tripe and make us pay for it the mods are free and for that i am gratefull these modders are doing a great job compared to ea.

lots of mods are just the way those people wanted to play the game, not everyone will like them

removing the atry from the commander, removing the UAV, the scan, taking the ability away from the enemy to use your helo etc.. are not real, just the way they want to play

nice feedback here. Plz never forget: all Mods are the hobby, not the job of the devs.

The OPK-team know that there are bugs. And we will do many tweaks. Like on the choppers. *g*
Another point: don´t compare unreleased mods with first demo´s or minimod.

USI and PRMM do a great job, both with other goals. USI got some great skins and models. PRMM have an own gameplay.

The great thing on Mods is, that YOU can get a game that YOU like.

So give feedback (like this thread here) and support the teams, with motivation. feedback, Ideas, screenshots videos.

For us modder it´s really cool to see communitymade videos. Or potd´s on pages.

So enjoy what you get, don´t talk negative over unreleased mods (you never tested them) and give critisize constructive on tese things you can see. Like ugly render or screenshot, tell us modders that we can do this better. most of them will try it.

So enjoy playing.

The mods I recommend are NaW and PRMM v0.3. See other posters' replies for details.

Anyone thats sits down and works there arse of to give everyone free content IMO deservse our praise. If you like the mod or not it dosnt matter theres going to be all different types of mods coming out for all different types of players.

Anyway, about the mods, I was going to post yesterday about not liking PRMM that much, but I got on a good server and had a few great rounds of Karkand Night Ops, and it changed my whole idea of that mod. At times it is still aggravating, and I really wish it would at least let you know when you killed someone, but other than that if you get on a good server it is loads of fun. The sounds are a bit weak (especially the .50 cals - maybe I'm being spoiled by USI), but other than that it's pretty solid.

It reminds me a lot of a cross between Operation Flashpoint gameplay and BF2.
