Good processor, BTW. XP may be a problem. Once you get the game running, bring up the FPS by hitting ~ and typing "renderer.drawfps 1". Note your FPS (first number). ALT-TAB to desktop, hit CTRL-ALT-DEL to bring up the task manager. Under the processes tab, right click bf2.exe and select "set affinity..." Under the dialog that comes up, uncheck one processor. It doesn't matter which one. Close Task Manager, and task back in to the game. Note your FPS. If it increased, it will have increased probably two-fold. If this is the case, you need the hot-fix that addresses this issue. It's a problem with XP, not the processor.Comment

my friend has the same setup, well he has 3700+ but he plays BF2 maxed out no problem, ur good to go soldier

LOL. HolyCrap, Just noticed the 196 as your 3DMark05 score! haha..I didn't think that was humanly possible! I mean seriously, I think I've seen fellas worse off than you with better scores?Originally posted by -Darkstar10-.
