Iron sight is blank

Hi. Here is my comp

AMD 64 3000+
1gig ram
120gig HDD
ATI 9600 pro 128 meg (lastest driver)

Sometimes when i play bf2 my iron sight stop working. I never had this problem before the lastest patch. My iron sight is all black. And almost all icons (attack this position, defend) and black as well. Does anyone knows about that problem?

yeah, getting a screenshot would be great. I have never heard this happen to anyone i know.

there is probably a texture or skin missing not allowing him to see

doubt it cuz he said sometimes...so im guessing its his video card
