the f2000's scope is one of the nicest scopes they made and the g3 was never as good as it was in the first release of bf2.

I find 2 shot bursts work really well with the f2000. In fact, if I do anything else with it, I usually miss.

Maybe it's just me, but the F2000 has way too much recoil for my taste. I know it has the same stats as other weapons, but in my hands it just like to bounce all over the place.

Is it just me, but I find kinda hard to hit people from a distance with assault weapons. This started to happen after last patch. Sure G3 get better and I like it a lot. It's good weapon from short to mid range, but before patch AK was pretty accurate from the distance same thing with the M16. Now they are totally useless in my hands when shooting from distance like over 100m or so. Medic weapon G36E seems to be the most accurate gun after sniper rifles. I used to love G36C but after patch it's just semi-accurate gun and I tend to use those with optic sight more and more.

Other thing that seems to happen to me occasionally is that when hitting the ground and fireing, the first bullet hits for sure, then no matter how carefully you aim the followings will mis. I've tried to slow down fireing rate, aim low, aim high what ever. It just doesn't hit even if it's 100% sure that sight is in right spot and opponent doesn't move. Happens in all ranges, sometimes even from just a couple of meters. The only thing that helps is to take iron or optical sight off and the aim again, then hits just like it should.

I've started to use sniper rifle more and more even in close combat. They are the only guns u can rely on that hit where u aim. I'm getting better and better with those. No one can't praise enough how good weapon type 88 is. SVD is also good but kinda sucks in long range shots.

I really miss my accurate G36C, that was the best weapon in the game before it was spoiled.

I can pick almost any gun and still get over 30 kills in a round.

The G36C wasn't changed, so it's still as accurate as it ever was. Having said that, though, I know exactly what you mean when you say the first bullet will hit and subsequent bullets will miss. I had an issue like that just yesterday (well, I have them all the time but the one yesterday is the one most fresh in my memory ) on Mashtuur with the M4. I was at the flag on the hill, and by 'at the flag' I mean I was prone at the base of the flagpole itself, and an enemy comes out from that hole in the fence between those two buildings and goes prone, facing the other way. I'm prone so I just scope in, place the dot on his head, and fire. First round hits, no other ones do. This was using two-round bursts, too, so it's not like I was going wildly full-auto or anything, the bullets just simply wouldn't hit. Usually, though, I chalk it up to lag.

And indeed, the G36E is the flavour of the month. EVERY medic I see on any team uses this gun now, aside from the occasional L85 users. But I can't really blame them because it is quite a beast of a gun. Gotta love the recoil that, unlike the M16, pushes the ironsights straight up instead of to the side so a burst aimed at someone's upper torso will usually hit the torso, the neck, and the head, resulting in a one-burst kill. Brutal.

most ppl hate the sound and look of the gun, but i REALLY love the look and sound. i also LOVE the reloading lol. when my guy shoves in the clip and then gives that bolt a slightly-violent-yet-still-under-control pull,all i can think of saying is "watch out for me, motherf*ckers!!!!" lol :)

Wolfgang I disagree with u when speaking about G36C. It really was almost as accurate gun as sniper rifle before last patch. So many times did I drop snipers from long ( and I really mean LONG ) distances. Now it's not possible anymore. Something must have happened with that gun :hmm:

Well, if you check the chart that Black_Duck made (in the sticky topic), the carbines were not changed at all in any recent patches. AFAIK all that data was taken directly from the game files so it's as accurate as can be. Maybe you're just rusty, or you are having a spot of bad luck with the gun?

The F2000 is a pretty solid gun and I like using the kit with the F2000 because you get to use flashbang grenades too!

Have to admit that cannot find any support for my claim by searching patch notes or other information. Well must be getting old, but that's how it is. Before that was my absolute favourite gun because I could hit folks from really far. Now I can't and it seems that G36E is the gun for that. I haven't checked what information is given for those gun by weapons charts. Maybe the reason actually is behind the the weapon (or mouse) :)
