It's all just subjectivity. Everyone has days where they own with a particular weapon or technique that they thought was useless. Stop playing for about a week and start using the F2000 again, you will probably make a thread about "those lame ass claymores" or something instead of realizing that you were just having a terrible game.

The F2000 is ok but the G3 is the best rifle in the game. I've only started using it recently having not played the assault class that much. I tend to use it in semi-auto mode most of the time which really improves ones aiming since you must ration your bullets. The G3 is about as powerful as the PKM and a lot more accurate.

I'm not too impressed with the F2000, mainly because of the crummy optical sight.

As far as assault rifles go, the G3 is a killing machine. The lack of a tube and the 20-round magazine on the G3 make it more of an expert's weapon. There's less of a tendency to send the lead flying...you're more mindful of your ammo, and that makes you take just a little more care aiming.

No kidding. I've come to re-appreciate the anti-tank kit after getting a good bunch of kills in Mashtuur with the MEC submachine gun. It's surprisingly accurate at range, and I dropped people from pretty far away on semi-auto. I've had good days and bad days with every kit, though.

I loved the F2000 from when I first unlocked it. I do find though that some times I will play and I wont be able to kill anything....even someone on idle :)

Maybe you had this problem when you 1st unlocked it but now had a few founds with it working as it should :)

I agree the G3 is a killing machine, and in my opinion the best single weapon in the game. However, I still pick the F2000 kit when playing BF2 vanilla, even though it's ability to hit things at distance is laughable (due to a bad sight and bad accuracy). This isn't because of the t00b attachment, in fact I prefer hand grenades. No, it's because of the flashbangs.

UAV + Flashbangs = Effortless killing

The G3 kit in SF has flashbangs instead of smokes, and that is just....orgasmic.

Befor the patch (1,20?!) when SF came out the F2000 was realy the best weapon and owned. but than they nerfed the damge and it become less popular maybe they changed it back ... why dont you make a test if its true?!

This is a funny thread, LOL socks. I use the F2000, I like it. The G3 doesnt have enough ammo for me. Im not saying that it needs more, Im saying that I always run out. When I play support I always pay attention to the G3 guys and keep the full up on Ammo.
Oh Im the one who has been making a fair amount of kills with the F2000 on the team 2R server. Was using it to nade a hacker and found that it was making lots of dead enemys after I ran out of GL ammo. Anyway I like the F2000 and cant think of any weapon I hate presently. . . . . .Red

I'm going to have to go with Salad and anyone else who picked the G3 just for the simple fact that it's more powerful than the F2000. Don't get me wrong, the 2000 definitely is a great gun but when it comes to raw power you just can't go wrong with the G3.

meh.. i prefer the ak-101 over the f2000. get over 40 kills as a medic on a regular day. somehow i've become used to the feeling of its recoil. i agree the f2000 is a good gun tough.. but i still prefer my ak over it..

The F2000 is okay, but mediocre all around. Not the most powerful, nor the most accurate, it actually doesn't even zoom in as far as the other ARs I don't believe. To be honest I don't like the way it looks or sounds, but otherwise it's a good gun.

The F2k has never been boosted or nerfed. It was always the same accuracy, did 34 damage, etc. The reason people used to use it all the time was because it was new, just like when the new patch came out with the L96 every map of 32 player Sharqi had about 25 snipers. Now that the newness has worn off people have gone back to the guns they prefer.

Screw Unlocks the default weapons pwn.. I just got a pwnage score with my first round of assault in karkand.. 25-6 Just by playing Assault no it isn't a god-like score but for me it's good.. Congrats with your new rifle..

I hate the F2000 at anything other than close range. I've emptied entire clips trying to drop snipers several buildings away on Warlord - the scope sucks. Whereas with the G3 and AK, if I can see them, I can hit them.
