Perhaps you need to run with admin privileges? Are you running it from an account with restricted privileges?

You need to start Windows as the admin not as a guest

login as admin and play bf2, accounts with limmitted access cannot play....stupid EA

typically i only login as admin to perform administrative tasks, but these douchebaggs over EA force me to login as admin to play......what dumbasses

usually there is an admin login, when setting up your windows, (depending on the OS), it usually asks you for an admin password
