No BF2 is not like Quake

but I'll be gentle and assume you meant Enemy Territory Quake Wars
Which will in fact be very similar to BF2 but with a more futuristic setting, aliens (the Strogg) instead of Arabs and looks prettier being based on the heavily modified Quake 4/Doom 3 engine. Unlike BF2 ETQW will be more objective based like its predecessor Enemy Territory which is a free online FPS set in WW2 - you should download the latter if you want to get an idea as to how Quake Wars will play
