I havnt posted here in a while but here ismy question. I have recently set up a second monitor on my computer for my graphics work. Is there any efficient way to put the second monitor to use in BF2, such as just holding the map or something like that.

Bf2 doesnt support daul monitor I'm in the same boat and wish i could use my 2nd screen with BF2, but can't. The 2nd screen is good for TS/Vent anyways

Yeah, unfortunately dual monitor support is rare.

Dual monitor support would be one of those things that certainly would give a HUGE advantage to dual monitor players. Personally, I wouldn't mind seeing it implemented. But it certainly won't happen for BF2, nor do I think it'll happen for BF2142.

Heh, dual monitor support? How about we work on widescreen support first.

Thanx, for some games it works. For instance, WoW, through multiple mods will support dual monitors. You had your char. and attacks on one screen and all the menus and stuff on the other, worked really really well.

Yes, if we aren't going to get widescreen support, I certainly wouldn't hold my breath for dual-monitor

I've been holding off on buying an LCD monitor just to see if BF2/BF2142 would ever support widescreen resolutions..until then, I'll stick with my huge bulky CRT monster.

Hehe..I tried putting my other CRT monitor on my desk and hooked it into my second monitor port...and MAN did it feel excessive.

Was kinda fun though but I took it down because I just couldn't find enough uses with the games I play.

i do a lot of 3d modeling with maya and stuff so its really good for that.
