I think I figured out how to stop CRASHING TO DESKTOP

Before playing, I found that if I closed programs with the ctrl alt delete method I would crash constantly.

SOLUTION: I didnt close any programs before playing the game. I only closed programs which "suck" my internet like torrent, msn, firefox, etc.

What happened? It isnt crashing anymore and i have been using this method for a week now. thought i should share it with you guys. I do however have 2gb of RAM but i dnt think it makes much of a difference.

So, try this out.

Dont close any programs before you play then come back here and tell me if its helped you.

Ive never had Bf2 crash, ive had it lock up three times in the server browser and once while trying to access BFHQ. Lucky me =]

I've had it crash to desktop a few times....but the worst thing is when it gets minimized because someone popped up on my wifes stupid AIM, which I forgot to close
