i just read another thread and one guy said to get your vet knife badge just play on servers that have FF off !
i thought it was compulsory for RANKED servers ???

No its not. EA however would prefer it to be on however its not compulsory. What amazes me is FF doesn't have to be on yet tkpunish does. Does that make sense to anyone?

FF has to be on, but it doesn't have to be set at 100%, at least that is how I read it, and how the server company explained it.

Most of the servers i play on i noticed the FF is set a "1" so your first ff shot doesn't count.

FF is not required to be on, though it is recommended. That's the ROE.

I guess it all depends on how you read it. I seperate out FF on and the 100%. I look at the recommended part only dealing with the 100%, since the original rule was that FF HAD to be on at 100%, but they changed that part to recommended.

Oh well, another incomplete rule that is left wide open to debate, and while things like this allow ranked servers to have FF on or off, which greatly effects the game, they have things like TK Punish must be on down.

FF should always be on, otherwise you see what happens when FF is off....nade spamming and artying everywhere....literally everywhere since it doesn't affect teammates.

I mean how stupid is it to have two guys go to decap a flag and have thier commander rain arty on them and kill everyone nearby and have them live and cap the flag....

You gotto look at it both ways. It's 50/50. Sure it isn't about realism, but it is at the same time.

Everyone needs to stop trying to shove their opinion down peoples' throats. If you don't like FF, play on a sever without it. If you like FF, play on a server with it. EA needs to keep it a server setting and let people decide how they like to play.

If you're looking at the loading screen, then that's a binary indicator.. 0 = off, 1 = on.

I agree with VT Nerd. While I enjoy FF being on, including mines/claymores, I can appreciate that other people do not want it on. But, hey, if EA feels the need to dictate every tiny little aspect of the game to the players on their ranked servers, then who am I to argue.
