How come I cant change my setting to use my Creative SB X-Fi sound card anymore. When I try it says an error that I must change my settings back to default to use my card. I reset the BF2 settings to default and the volume controls in windows and in Creative's options. But nothing has worked... anyone know what is wrong and how to fix it?

There is a program called X-Fi mode changer (http://www.freewebs.com/spectra9/xfmc.html) You can set program profiles for it to change modes for you automaticly or by hotkey if you want. Nice little program been using it a while, works great for automaticly changing into game mode when I startup BF2.Comment

Basically, xfi tuned gamesl ike Quake 4 and BF2, YOU MUST BE ON GAME MODE for it to work. Or else ultra high won't work.
The xfi mode changer works, although I noticed after I used it, bf2 sounds goes distorted once in a while requiring a reboot every once in a while. Oh well :)Comment
