made corporal last night, got the fanfare, and when the option to unlock popped up, i selected the DAO-12 which is supposed to be an upgrade in the anti-tank kit. started to play and quickly realized that it wasn't showing up in the anti-tank weaponry, i still had the basic machine gun. went to BFHQ menu and under kit it's showing the DAO-12 with a locked lock symbol. so the weapon i supposedly unlocked, was in fact not unlocked. any ideas why? thx -p

Well, there have been quite a few glitches with BFHQ this past week. I wouldn't get too concerned about it yet.
Also, some servers have a bug where you log in and none of your unlocks are available.
I would completely log out of BFHQ and try another server. Make sure that your stats, rank, and unlocks appear normal in BFHQ before joining the server.

yup, it sux. logged out & logged back in, rebooted & restarted, tried differnt servers and tried single player. all failed to show the upgrade *sigh*Comment

Yeah, it may take a few days...
Some people have had problems with BFHQ allowing them to rank up or get unlocks with certain software firewalls running..try disabling them.
Otherwise, if you have a friend that also has BF2, try logging in with your account on his machine and see if it appears.
Just general troubleshooting steps to try in the meantime.Comment

thx T, welp after playing a few times of all of a sudden the yellow up-and-down scroll arrows (to select the weapon) in the kit finally appeared. now i have access to it. go figure. thx again -pComment
