Good evening my fellow soldiers.
I write to you in despair. Lo and behold, I have a problem with bf2. It's something that angers me. It enfuriates me even. Something that reaches into the very essence of my glorious soul and drags out what can only be described as unspeakable evil. Something that puts me into such nasty fits of extreme rage that I may some day punch a hole in my awkwardly cheap LCD and scream naughty words that your mother would definitly not approve of! I am quite certain that this horrible beast I will soon describe to you has been experienced by all veterans of the online battlefield... 2
By now you're wondering what I'm talking about. HA! I will tell you. I speak of the ugly, hated and dreaded...
Loginprocedure of bf2!
"Que pasa? O_o" you say...
"Yes.. the loginscreen" I proudly sing yet again!
So, what could possibly bring about this anger? Do not fear! I, your brave guide in the darkness will enlighten you!
It begins when you one day feel a lust to shed some noobtooberblood on the streets of Karkand. You CRAVE the gushing of tears of 14 year old smacktards drenching their weak little keyboards! You seek POWER, STRENGTH and CHEATING ACCUSATIONS! Your urge is simply so strong that it cannot be held back anymore.
The long journey begins by doubleclicking on your handy bf2 desktop icon. It delivers you a familiar loginscreen. You press LOGIN! HA! You have done this before, so you are aware that this may take some time. So you wait.. and wait.. and wait. Hmmmm, nothing happens. This cannot be! The once so friendly looking red rotating digit number 2 suddenly becomes veeery suspicious. You stare at your screen trusting that this horror will soon be over. Still, nothing happens. You feel hope fade away. A small part of you dies and you cry quietly to yourself. Making sure noone can hear your heart being shattered.
And then - smart and cunning as the digital knight of doom that you are you decide that that retreat is the best alternative for now. You sweep the keyboard with your eyes which your foes describes as something of a predator. You devise a dastardly plan that some people think can only be engineered by a pure genius.
You decide.. to press ALT+TAB.
Your finger gently strokes the ridges of the ALT button. You feel confident. You press it down and hold it in place. Victory is imminent. You can taste it. Another of your fingers decisively strikes the TAB-button. NOTHING CAN STOP YOU NOW!! AAAAHAHAHAHAHA!!
"Wtf?"
A windows arrow? In the middle of the loginscreen? This is weird. This can't be for real. It can't fail! Your heart stops briefly. You panic!
"Nooooooooo!" *gurgle*
Then.. you start breathing again and you realize. All is not lost. There is more than one way out. You wipe the sweat off your scarred forehead and quickly go over your backup strategies. There are atleast three of them left. The brutish Windows button, the exotic femme fatale ALT+F4 and the dark function revered and feared by all.. CTRL+ALT+DEL.
Your fingers move swiftly across the keyboard. They strike down with pinpoint accuracy hitting all the correct keys in perfect harmony. The joy and hope is overwhelming. You cry and laugh at the same time. You have become a god. There is no way that this is going down the drain... no way!
But.. nothing happens?
Then a thick darkness swallows everything. All sounds quiet down. Seemingly engulfed by this wretched nothingness. A text comes out of nowhere. It says... "RGB cable not connected". You have pressed the power button on your computer.
-- the end.
This is my way of saying. Please dice. Put some code in there so that bf2 respects windows emergency procedures.
