Doesn't look too bad. I like the fact that it seems to have a different game mode other than conquest which is probably the worst there is besides a respawnable DM. Anyways weather you support the game or not it's there for ya.

Its actually The titan mode (EA message when you start bf2)

WE dont know much about it yet but it looks cool. With the flying carrier and all :)

Actualy, we know quite alot about it. I don't know if you've people noticed, but those hundreds of BF2142 previews that have been popping up arn't there just to take up space.

WOW i like the whole infaltration type play that was going on there!

Maybe more of a single player type interface or better multiplay?

Who knows all i know is that it looks good...

But with the MEC's and other large more powerful weapons could = more base raping etc.

lol It's BF2142.. The new Battlefield that will come out end of 2006 And if you aren't convinced yet then look at this video:

The point is to destroy the "Titan" of the other team. They were originally used to get people away from the ice, but they were militarized and now serve as homebases where you can spawn. You get onto it from "pods." I think you can launch from your own Titan to the other team's Titan, don't know about the video where they launched from the ground or something. You basically have to infiltrate that huge thing, find the nuclear reactor core, and destroy it. The Titan is like a floating aircraft carrier (not sure if it holds the aircraft, more than likely it does) and as such has defensive guns on the outside that can be manned. The guns can also be destroyed one-by-one. You can maybe destroy the Titan this way also.

I for one thing this is going to be a great game. The graphics could be better, I agree, but in a Multiplayer FPS, thats kind of hard to do. I'm still loving how this game looks though, the graphics ARE better than BF2, though not by a lot. I don't think its a BF2 add-on. Those of you who say that obviously have no idea of the gameplay changes that DICE made in this new game. I'm sure its going to be a much better game, can't wait for it to come out.

Thank you for taking the time to explain. I do think the game looks good for clans. But in reality a 64 player server with those vehicles is going to be dumb with n00bs. Even in a 16. Hopefully this time EA builds a clan system in. It's so funny how they promised one with BF2 but it's still not in the game.
