As long as my clan sticks with the BF series I'll get it.

I know this has been covered to death, but I personally think that EA should set up a system where your rank is based on your total BF2 score + BF2142 score. By keeping the two seperate, you can base unlocks/ribbons/medals for BF2142 on the points scored only in that game. This way those of us who can't play 24/7 (like me) don't have to spend almost a year earning back our measely 55k points and those who play constantly will get to keep their high ranks. I'm not excited about starting over from the beginning with nothing just because I'm loyal to the series. </Thread Hijack>

I voted not interested...just cause I really am not that interested...I think the idea of customizing weapons is just going to lead to a whole mess of whining, complaining and so forth as the people who play the most will obviously have the advantage with better weapons, armor, or whatever else they give you. Not that I don't like the idea, but I think after seeing the mess that the community made with bf2, I'll just avoid dealing with the next one.

I can't say with any certainty whether or not I like it, because it's not out yet, but futuristic shooters like that generally aren't my thing. I'm a pretty big military buff, and that's what attracted me to BF42 (then later BFV and BF2) in the first place, not just having an interest in FPS-type games.

My point exactly. All I do is watch history channel and play BF2, that is when I come back from work and before my woman comes home. I don't like the Sci Fi concept.

Well like all games I am looking forward to trying it out. Maybe it is the next best thing to water but then again maybe I'll throw it away in the garbage. Point is I am willing to wait and try it out. I do like what I have seen so far so that is a plus.

I'll try it out and see how it goes. If i dont like it, i'll trade it in and get my money back! easy!
