Customisable character's plz

Do you think they will ever make a custom character option for battlefield 2142 not sure about you guys but I think it would be an amazing feature, but I doubt they could handle 64 custom charas runnin around, Imagine being able to design every aspect of your player...what a nice dream

In the very begining....the die hard Battlefield guys around here, will remember, that when BF2 was first being talked about, it was said, that soldier customiziation, was going to be a part of the game. As well as decorative emblems imprinted into the game. SOrta like half life "sprays" i think they call them.

Yeah, it would be pretty cool if you could include a clan patch or something like that, although decorative uniforms are pretty rare on the real battlefield :laugh:

thats basically what DICE said near the begining, that clans could have their own "patch" so to speak, on cars/tanks/jets or whatever vehical they would get into at the time. Im fairly sure some super internet slueths here could dig up articles written about this. I know i remember reading this from a dice source in pcgamer or something........
to be fair, this was REALLY early within the games development.

i thought i read somewhere on these forums (or total bf2142) that they would have that.....

and would have dogtags you can collect from your knife victims :evil:

personally, i don't give a f*ck about "personilized" players.

maybe if this was world of warcraft, or if i actually saw my soldier.

i want personalized guns! I want my m4 to be bright pink!

Ya i remember that stuff. They had screenshots and little videos of them changing the soldiers look to. The menu looked alot diferant but was taken out also.
