There is a little thing called E3, that EA and dice are attending. I hear it's pretty important for game developers and there publishers.

I didn't expect anything but previews for future games from EA this week.

Bloody hell fellas, why on earth are you complaining?! did it ever occur to anyone that they're taking so long because they're testing it *properly*, which we've missed out on thus far????? I'm happy to wait another month if they are able to iron out issues without drastically buggering up the game in another way!

What do you want? another half-assed job, or something well done?!?!?

My irritation is caused by uncovered promises. I'm perfectly happy waiting for them to do their job. But if they keep saying that it's gonna arrive tomorrow day after day without results, it's gonna **** me off. If nothing is ready, they shoud keep their mouths shut or release announcement that it will be released on xx.xx.2006. If that goal is not possible to meet then announcement that new release date is xx.xx.2006. No more speculation, thats how business is made.

And Rev0lution I'm no wannabe anything, just making my point that I've liked all BF2 products so far (don't like constant altering of the game but I'll adapt and move on) and don't see any reason why any company should give their products for free. :p

yeh but mate, if they dont keep news of it in the public domain, people will again, not be happy. As far as im aware they havent actually given a release date per se, just said that it was in the works and was well under development

Its pretty typical for EA to do this, theyve been doing it for a while, saying one thing and then doing another.

By no means do I want a buggy product, better for them to wait another few weeks to get it correct, but they could at least tell us this to begin with...

I didn't know it took the entire EA and dice staff to scrap some game previews together and do nothing for a whole week.

EA and dice will greatly improve their work ethic once they see BF2142 and Quake Wars sales.
