Re: What percentage of your kills were achieved in vehicles?
cwv, so a pilots "job" is to fly, bail and cap a flag? And then spawn where? At the same flag and continue on foot? And you call it "piloting"? Maybe youve got Karkand too much in your head, so lets make some things clear. A pilot in a jet is a ATS tool. If youve given support from the skies, its your job to use that support and get your ass on the land, rather than whining about why he does not bail and cap a flag, or why doesnt he do this-
So, a jet pilot must fly the jets for 15 seconds, bail and let someone "else to try"? Try what? Bail after 15 seconds and let someone third to try? And so on? Are you sick?
YOU get a flag. Get into that boat and start rowing for the beach. While he keeps the muscle busy so you can have a safe landing. Thats the way it works. Not like you described some odd infantry masturbation fantasy.
Keep in mind that those monster kills are being made by providing you air support. If the pilot ISNT giving you support blame HIM, not all of them/us.
If I take out that tank and that chopper for you to land on the beach, you better appreciate it. Your job is to get to the land at all cost, mine is to cover you at all cost. If youre sitting on the carrier and waiting till I say "Its all clear buddy, start going now!" and you STILL sit and watch the sun, its YOUR fault and not mine.
Bottomline, a pilot does not win for the team. If the team is useless, a pilot can only kill for himself. Proven over and over and over again in BF2.
Dont blame a jet pilot for your wtupidity when youre setting that boat right into a tank.
I personally will dismiss your faulty BF2 logic for the lack of game experience and jealousy of points gathered by pilots.

Sure, a lone pilot can manage to neutralize a flag, but by then he has to fend off an attack chopper, two tanks, and a swarm of infantry.
To what I am actually referring is the kind of jet whores on, for example, 64-player Wake Island where the American team can't get off the carrier. The jet pilots could bail out and try to get a flag and let the jet respawn for someone else to try.

Instead many pilots just keep going around getting monster kills meanwhile the rest of the team is getting its butt handed to it by the jets and helicopters the friendly jet can't (or won't) take out.
And don't anyone tell me that the jet whores are "doing their job" in that situation.

P.S. metallicaguitrst, I will dismiss your insults to the exuberance of youth. Your comment "randomly shoot in that area" sums up the skill it takes to get kills in a jet.
