Well for some weird reason, USI seems to run at a much lower FPS on my comp than regular BF2 does. I usually get 25-35 FPS during fire fights in BF2, but I get like 15 FPS for firefights/tank fights in USI. When I am flying plane or just doing nothing, it is usually like 50-60 FPS for both. But for some reason, tanks and firefights have crazy low FPS in USI... Any ideas on why this may be?

Hmm.... not sure. A couple people have complained about this before. But I'm not sure what to say since I never get lag/FPS drop I USI. -

i heard that USI MOD is slight more demanding that V BF2, reduce ur GFX settings. BTW this MOD is awsome with or without great GFX, its all about the teamplay. Just have the sounds on HIGH & ur laughing.Comment

I actually noticed an increase in performance, in regards to load times and menu interface. I can load a map and join the game in just a few seconds, while in Vanilla BF2 it takes a couple of minutes. The only complaint I have with USI is the lag that is expereiced sometimes in game. This is a server problem I think. I will be flying my helicopter, and suddenly end up flying upside down. People in game probably think I an ace chopper pilot (far from the truth). I love USI, the sounds are great, the loading time is great, the weapons are great.
