Help! BF2.exe somehow got deleted..

I have no idea why my BF2.exe was mysteriously deleted - it happened right after I exited out of USI 0.1. I tried numerous file recovery programs, but they didn't work. I'd simply get the executable off my BF2 CD, but it would be without the 1.22 patch, and I really want to avoid future problems by not re-patching my entire Battlefield 2.

So, how can I get it back? Could one of you please send me the BF2.exe, as long as it has the 1.22 patch applied to it and DOES NOT have a "*****/No-DVD patch" applied to it?

did the shortcut get deleted?

just go to My Computer->Program file->EA->Bf2. and you should the bf2 icon just made a new shortcut of it on your desktop

I'm positive the shortcut wasn't deleted. Trust me, BF2.exe in \EA GAMES\Battlefield 2 is GONE.

Hey, thanks man.. A friend just sent it over to me a few minutes ago, so all is golden.. I appreciate it, though. Interesting how ya live in Murrieta I'm actually in Wildomar, off Baxter Rd. in the Windsong Valley tract..

Have you gotten Verizon FiOS yet? They should be all done laying the fiber here within a few weeks. :)
