Many people just enjoy the A-10... Many people on these forums have had a-10's in their sig since way before you got here. Not everybody does everything they can to aphilliate with bf2(i think i spelled it wrong)

Many people who like the A10 were former Desert Combat Pilots like me. However, I have basically not flown that much in Battlefield 2, too unrealistic for me. I am a real life pilot, so I stick to my flight sim games. Battlefield 2 is where I snipe and play infantry. I was a big pilot during Desert Combat, I simply just found it more fun. I fly occasionally, but I find it more about being baserape in BF2 than actually eliminating stretegic targets like tanks with "dumb" bombs like BF1942 and Dcom. It was more fun and took more skill back then. There wasn't much tking for planes either, there was no stats system.

And that it is really f'in cool. I like how when you switch out of the cockpit view to just the HUD you can see that monster GAU8 gatling gun, I don't know if it was intentional or nut, but it is sweet nonetheless.

u dont have to like it from the game to like it in real life...personalyl i love the way it looks and its massive array of firearms
