i am trying to skin in photshop, i can successfully open the dds files but when i go to save a message comes up saying that the files are locked and to unlock them i have to go to "properties" in windows explorer. I went there and saw nothing about unlocking files. What is this all about??

Could it just be referring to "read-only" status? That is definitely in the file properties and many BF2 files are indeed marked read-only. -

this happens when you extract things with many programs. simply select the files, right click, and select properties. in the window that opens, uncheck the "read only" box.Comment
