I played CS for a good 3-4 years. Was in the same clan since the beginning and was the only way to play. ( very high skill level )

Im HUGE on playing in squads but it seems i only find 1-2 guys any night that actually play AS a squad. I usually get 1 guy camping the aircrafts doing his own thing. 2 guys sniping alone, 1 medic whos always dead before me, and thats about it. No engineers, no support, no assaulters and definetly no teamwork. ( i dont count picking someone up in a vehicle and driving them to the next flag as teamwork. )

Im waiting to get fairly decent before i actually consider joining any clans but im glad i now know a few ip's i can try to see if they actually team work as a rule.

yeah i had a clan but they kinda...died so im looking for a new bf2 one. you should try squading, it is so much more fun than it sounds!

Hey Miniman, try VSF Gamers...it's a "gaming community" versus clan but squad play and teamwork is what we're all about. Most on the server use mics and squad up. The server is admin'd by adults and monitored by VSF members with upgraded Punkbuster points. Tards are quickly dealt with. Server info in signature.

then agian, i suppose that its the ppl you play with who make a server - a team server full of plane noobs isnt a team server :P

woah, i just went on a random server of OCS
we were being jet spammed beyond belief. i made a sqd called teamwork and told the ppl bout it. in 5 min i had a full sqd

we went and took and hel the enemy airbase and won the game! and it was sweet to, and all the squad got good scores.

apparantly, bf2 is supposed to be a squad based shooter. everyone is always saying that bf2 was desdinged to play in squads because its a lot more fun. ive only ever been in a proper squad once, and i gotta say it was probably the best game i had ever played. we had a 6 man squad, we stuck together, and we all had voip.

does anybody know any servers which are purpously for this sort of gameplay? i need a teamwork server!

On TG we have been playing with stable squad leaders since the game came out. Full infantry squads are the norm on this server. So I think you have only had a taste of what bf2 is truly about. Try stopping by TG this weekend during US primetime(thurs are tactical mod night so fri and sat are your best upcoming vanilla days) and take in the beauty of seeing every squad working together on both sides. Add in competent commanders who have squads that will follow orders(part of the server rules) and you obtain epic battles every round. Commanders get to move their chess pieces(full working squads) around the map and get to watch as they fail or succeed in their objective. The rounds are a lot longer than pub rounds too which adds to the epic feel.
