Bunny hoppers, you bet your arse there was! It was rampant, but no fix. Dolphin diving not so much a problem because it did't really increase your accuracy. Used to be you could bunny-hop your way around a tank and live, then blast it with your bazooka in the arse and 1-shot, 1-kill the beast!

maybe it was the servers i hung out on cause i never saw either.. i know everyone used to go left and right and change speeds run walk ect to avoid fire and that actually realistic to real life ...

There was a lot of bunny hopping, but I don't remember ever seeing anything like dolphil diving.

no one cared about dolphin diving and stuff, because it wasn't ranked and there weren't angry gamer spazzes when people died, it was all for fun. (at least from my point of view) people were much more friendly. there was the bunny hopping, but o well.

True that. I've been playing USI lately and it's a lot more fun just playing and not worrying about how much you die or if you die in a cheapass way.
