    Nvidia Driver

What does this do? Is this just for old computers struggling with the graphics?

No, its updates, so that say theres a game you have and theres a defect or something in the graphics but its not your computer so the gfx manufacturer finds out and produces updates for it so its fixed.

If you have a very old video card, you may not to update to a newer driver unless there is a fix specified for your card in the release notes.

If you have a newer card, you'll probably want to grab the latest official driver updates as they are released.

      So..what card DO you have?

Drivers make your hardware compatible w/ the computer. It puts it in a language your computer can recognize and use. New graphics drivers usually come out every few months.

I thought with Nvidia's Unified Drivers ... it covers all their cards.

It does...but every release does not introduce a change/fix for every single card.

Every single card is SUPPORTED...but in some cases, a new driver will give negative results for older cards (which usually gets fixed in a future release).

            Your mileage may vary.
