I dont understand the punishing

Hey guys, something really messed up happened to me last night. I took my blackhawk up pretty high then bailed out.

A friendly jet (F-35) saw me bail out and decided to smack into me. I know this was on purpose because i could see him alter his course to collide with me while i was parachuting. Well, he got me, he blew up in the process and i got punished for the team kill?!

How does this work?! I was pretty ****ed after that and, well, lets just say he never took off again.

I dunno, but you can save yourself the trouble next time by only opening the chute when you are nano seconds from the ground.

I was aon a 24/7 wake server (never going there again) once trying to practice with the jet. After waiting for about 10 minutes I get in and get TKed. I get it again and this time about 5 people are standing infront of the jet, they all punish me when I take off. This game is full of assholes, I have been punished about 10 times as much as I am forgived.

I do that **** all the time in SP, it's so fun to get up high and then HALO into the enemy main base, blow up all their assets and steal a Fighter-Bobmer/Attack Heli

I dunno but while I was waiting for some people to get into my hummer......one guy ran into it and somehow died, I ended up being punished for a team kill :|

people will punish for things thats their fault because to them, its not their fault at all.. 2 sides to every coin.. chances are this pilot wanted to see if the rumours about indestructible parachutes were true or not, and cos they were he punished out of anguish at killing himself.

I hate the way that jets just explode when they fly into you.. Although back in my newby days of 1.12 it was great fun to watch the jet that just downed you swoop back in for the kill and instead end up exploding when it hits you.. And you get away without a scratch :laugh:

Know how you feel. You see all these new players and if they can't get what they want, they wanna punish you in some way.

The only thing you can do when you TK someone, is to put your head between your legs, cross your fingers and hope he/she chose to use the page up key

Who cares about a single punish? It doesn't affect your score. Your negatives come from the teamkill and damage.

To me a TK punish means, yeah you got 'em, but at least you got 'em good.

Punishing is a pointless feature of BF2, its like rubbing salt into an open wound.

Punish or not, you've just had 4 points deducted off your score (6 if they punish). So, the way the TK system along with the tk judgement, punishment (-4 points with the option of an extra -2 points) and the actual punishing option is seriously screwed in bf2.

It can totally ruin your game. I wish there could be more friendly fire off servers but I'm guessing they couldn't be ranked then?

My opinion is ditch the TK punish... it should just be a TK and you loose points... It causes too much anger/frustration/flaming etc... its just not what this games about. </rant>
