2 questions about making videos!!

Hi.

1. What is the best free download to use in order to make 3rd person videos?

2. Whatr is the link to the website to make a video progress report (thingy:laugh: )?

Any help would be great!

1. Use the free version of fraps or battlelauncher.

2. You have to make one of those youself.

Fraps is only first person stuff! and battlelauncher is for demo files (at least thats what i heard)

Yes, I ment use fraps when filming a demo file.
Or if you don't want to do this make sure the server has spectator mode enabled, then type in "renderer.drawhud 0" in the console, and film live action from this 3rd person mode.

Yes battlelauncher is only for Demo files, It is used to film at very high qualities.

You may want to do some more reseach before you make this video of yours.

if you want uber nice graphics, use battlelauncher. its all i use for whenever i want to make a video.

basically you record a camera track with low graphics, and when your done you pump up the graphics to the max (full EVERYTHING). select "render to video" and if you dont have it already, get the xvid codec. the quality is amazing and the size is not too large of a file. run battlelauncher on that demo and camera file and it should go really slow, and thats normal. it basically breaks it down frame by frame and adds it to a movie file. when finished look in the demo files folder and it should be there as a video file, super high quality :)

of course you could read up on the instructions on their site, but i was bored. alot of people say BL is too hard, when really it is amazingly simple
