Help please! I think I may have cocked up

Right I have just bought, downloaded and installed EF, having loaded it up and tried to play it said that I need EF to play!!

I think I may have cocked up when I registered with EA downloader, thinking that it was seperate from the actual game I entered my username as my real name rather then my BF2 account name. Does this mean that I may have bought EF but not for my existing account?

May be another problem but Im not too computer literate anybody advise? If I have bought it for inadvertantly creating a new BF2 account is there any way to transfer it to my proper account?

Try just opening up the EA Downloader program, click on the EF booster pack option and then at the top of the 'window' there is an option to EDIT YOUR GAMESPY NICK NAME.

Click on this link and you have to log into EA and then change your Gamespy Nickname to match your BF2 Account name.

Once you have done this launch BF2 and you should be able to play EF.

Have managed to get it to acknowledge that I have it now!!

Do I need to re-patch to 1.22 again as it is saying that my version is different to the servers.

yes after you have installed ef apply the 1.22 patch again and the server will not give that msg again.

remeber to change you gfx and sound setting as the patch defults them.
