Re: dolphin divers are just as bad as haxors

and i stood by my point the whole time, it might not be right to hack but he can if he wants to(same **** as having the right to) so long as he accepts the consequences as having his account banned or whatever.
I give up, ill, if you aren't going to be honest about what you have already said, I don't want to debate this any further. I am not going to go back through your posts anymore to show you what you said.

On top of that, if you are going to be a hypocrite and criticize other people's use of real life analogies and then use one yourself and then blame them for making you do it, obviously you have very little integrity and it is not worth it.

    So good day to you.

First, your not the only one who needs to be entertained at the office.

Second, and more importantly, it was only when I completely destroyed your logic that you chose to reveal yourself.

      So, in reality, who won?
      Evilzucchini:evil:   !!

      Well...well...well...

Though I fail to see how my logic was destroyed when I employed none to begin with, I'll concede your first point.

But make no mistake zuchhini! We'll meet again!! We will meet again....BWAHAHAHAHBAHHHAHAHA!!!

Well, it "SHOULD" but wont'. So, the notion that people, "Should do what the EULA says because it says it, with no real means to enforce it if you're talented enough" is moot all together.
This is like saying that it is okay to take candy from a baby because it is easy to do so.

Again, just because something is easily exploited does not make it right to exploit it.

I understand that the point of their EULA is more to protect their ass than anything else. However, coming in a close second, is creating a system where they can keep as many customers happy as possible. Not getting sued and keeping customers both fall under the umbrella of "making money." Cheating by a few makes the game unenjoyable by the masses. They want to protect their game against this too and they do.

However, I find it interesting that you agree with me with all the actions that EA has taken, yet you find their EULA to be still pointless. I am not sure if I get that point.

Though I fail to see how my logic was destroyed when I employed none to begin with, I'll concede your first point.
You tried to, but you failed.

But yes, we shall meet again.

                        Er. No.

You're right. It's not the "RIGHT" thing to do.

I understand that the point of their EULA is more to protect their ass than anything else. However, coming in a close second, is creating a system where they can keep as many customers happy as possible. Not getting sued and keeping customers both fall under the umbrella of "making money."
I agree that it's all under the "making money" ideal.

Cheating by a few makes the game unenjoyable by the masses. They want to protect their game against this too and they do.
See, this is where we don't agree. They "Don't" protect their games from hacks because they simply can't. Granted, the EULA says you shouldn't do this, but it has absouletly no way to prove or stop you from doing it.

However, I find it interesting that you agree with me with all the actions that EA has taken, yet you find their EULA to be still pointless. I am not sure if I get that point.
I agree with doing the "right" thing myself. I just don't agree with using the concept of ,"It's in the EULA" as an talking point to further your argument. The EULA has no merit what-so-ever. It's impossible to enforce correctly, it's very close minded to expect everyone who purchases the game to read the cookie cutter document, and it's very easily "sued-around" when it comes down to it.

We aren't going to agree on this. Our points are both valid they just stand on two opposite sides of the fence . I mean, we can discuss this to death but when it comes down to both of us are correct.

                        1. The EULA is pointless; in both implementation and as a talking point (Yes, in the past I have used it myself. My view has just changed over time.) - My view

                        2. Just because somthing is pointless, doesn't mean its meaning should be ignored - My perception of your view.

Both correct in their own way, both impossible to refute as a whole. So, I think this is over.

                        {WP}Paas

                        P.S. -

I'm wrong now, EA has finally taken actions to enforce some of that jibber jabber in the EULA.

Go figure right when this little debate happens EA decides to actually take some friggin' actions, it's a conspiracy I tell you! I don't think much will come of it, but at least they are doing SOMTHING finally.

Re: dolphin divers are just as bad as haxors

Just to put something to evilzucchini...
In My experience hackers come in a few different "flavors". (And it doesn't matter what type of game.)
Many are the type that will hack to 'improve' their 'stats' in a game. Obtain more weaponry, unlock levels etc...
Multiplayer games spawned (no pun) another type. The Grief player.
They are the ones who are out to ruin the gaming experience for others.
Griefers who hack do it exactly because it 'messes' with other people.
By pooper's own definition of why he does it I believe him when he says it's not for stats.
I don't condone it and believe he should rot in hell in a pit of his own entrails but that's just my own opinion.

To give my opnion on the OP's original statement.
I have to agree with what some other's have said. Dolphin Diving was something that was "discovered" by the public. Something that even the people who didn't like it understood that it was "part of the game" until fixed.
Hacking however requires modifying game code that doesn't belong to you. All the code is property of EA/DICE. No matter what you paid for the disk the game code still belongs to them. So guess what...it's not anyone's to do with as they please even "at their own risk".
