    Fine tuned aiming

A way to fine tune your aiming whilst being sniper/on a mounted gun/on a TOW.

I have my mouse sensitivity turned up so I can quickly turn around and see who the hell is shooting me in the back as well as for being able to swing the tank/APC turret round more freely. The only annoying thing with this is it's more difficult to shoot targets that are further away because the controls become too sensitive.

I'd like to see the ability to press shift when prone as a sniper/when on a mounted gun/TOW so that the sensitivity of the mouse is halved or reduced so that you can fine tune your aiming.

    All in favour?

Thats a very good idea. That would be nice. Of course you could get a Logitech G5 laser mouse and dial down your sensitivity that way....

The only way I know of to do that is to get one of those mice which allows you to change the sensitivity.

I don't want to spam ad for this mouse but it is pretty damn sweet. For example, I play infantry at medium sensitivity but I like to change it alot while I play. Say I spawn sniper and hop in a tank (yeah I know its not a good idea but this is just and example). I can have my usual, medium sensitivity to running around and scanning for targets. When I hop in the tank, I press one button and have really high sensitivity so I can turn the gun 360 degrees without lifting the mouse. Then I hop back out and zoom in on a distant target, I set the sesitivity all the way down to low with two quick button pushes so that my slight hand movements when clicking don't effect my aim.

It just makes game play that much easier.

i have all my mouse sensativities on ten.....whenever i try to aim, for some reason i notice the crosshair/gunsight moves in like....intervals, it isnt smooth, its almost like its snapping to a grid.....and it sucks cuz i have to shift my whole body left, right, back, and forth to get a shot, usually getting killed in the process
