I <3 Karkand, but those 16 player servers on the 64 sized map are ub3r lame. It might as well be splinter cell instead of actual combat, 8v8 on a map like that ffs... And the knife/pistol only one's need to disappear, now.

I joined a "knife & pistol" only server for the first time last nite. The server message clearly stated that anyone using anything other than knives & pistols would be kicked immediately. So, I joined, spawned, pulled out the pistol and was immediately gunned down by an AK. Re-spawned again and saw that the entire server was using "whatever" weapons. I went to another "knife & pistol" only server and saw the same thing. My conclusion to this is that those type of servers advertise to attract noobs that join only to be gunned down for selecting their knife or pistol. lol....funny stuff.

Easy way to make points....I use my G3, he uses his pistol...I WIN...2pts!

Other than that I hate the map now. Armor and artillery ruins it completely.

No, vehicles are a must, you can easily take them down with 2-3 well SRAW/ERYX rockets.

No artillery / No grenades would make the map more fun.

My question is this: If most, if not all, who frequent this forum see knife and pistols servers daily, is there a team at EA who monitors this stuff regularly and resets those who are playing in them?
I'd be interested in seeing the number of players who've had there stats reset. 1,000? over/under?

I don't understand your question. I thought playing on a ranked knife and pistols only server was grounds for a stat wipe...regardless of what the admin rules for that server are...

I don't think they can reset you for playing on a server with a certain name. Just because it says "knife and pistol" on the box, doesn't mean that's what's in it. And that also doesn't mean that everyone in it is obeying those Knife and Pistol rules. Like others have said, some people don't have access to the ROE, so they should be warned before a wipe. I don't know if that's the policy, but if not, it sure is scary.
