Special Forces

I just bought this game; unfortunately, I can't play it. Everytime I try to start, it will go to a black screen and freeze, or crash back to desktop. I just defragged and normal BF2 works fine.

Anyone know whats up or how I can fix it? Any help would be extrememely appreciated because I had this game for 3 days and I've played it for maybe an hour.

Heres My Specs.

Pentium 4 3.4 Ghz
Radeon X800
2 gigs of RAM

what was the order u installed bf2/sf/ the patches

i think u need to isntall bf2 then sf then the patches..but not 100% sure so look around the forums

might help to uninstall bf2 and reinstall.

correct order is bf2>SF(patches to 1.1--can take a long time)>1.22 full

sounds to me like it aborted while it was patching; that might--MIGHT--be because SF reverts your current patch to 1.1, so again, I think you're better off reinstalling from scratch.
