    Anti-Tank, true fire and forget!

I notice when you shoot at people with the missile you have to guide it . So while you're guiding the missile:

within a half a second someone sees the muzzle flash and the missile trail
in another half second they've reacted and shot at you.

So if the missile travels for more than 1 second chances are you will have died within that first second, because you weren't able to take cover. To solve this find your target, aim, fire! Qucikly press "F," your gun will switch to one of your alternate wepaons. You can easily pull away from the line of fire and not get shot at. If you would have stayed in the missile launcher you would have not been able to move away, because moving away would send it off course, this technique will possibly save you :).

    Good luck :).

But then the missle starts traveling in a parabolic path like the RPG instead of going straight.

if you click to fire without guiding aim up, it will curve

You could always fire and hide behind cover while guiding it into your target.
This technique only works with tanks and APCs though.
I have a pretty decent hit rate when I use this technique

The drop isn't too significant, you can still aim it slightly above a tank's tracks and reload and it'll go right in.
