HAHAHA no....they don't if they did you would see commanders with like 10:1 k/d ratio all the time, the top commanders I mean...

You are very wrong, the artillery kills DO count towards your kill stats for the kit you are using.... whos laughing now :laugh:

At least they do that. I try not to use Arty when commander, but sometimes, using it will mean the difference between winning a round and losing by 2 tickets.

dont be shy...getting artyed may suck but so would a shy commander

If you have a fully functioning team of people that know what they are doing, its actually more effective to use artillery as a "sheild" to hold the enemy back while the ground pounders cap a flag, rather then raining it down on flags and so stopping your own troops advancing in.

It takes good leadership though and detailed tactics over VOIP, but when it works your team becomes unstoppable if you dont stop advances by dropping arty where your team is arriving

...ok, this is getting out of hand and off topic. I still get combat badges doing the comander thing and if the ground defence and AA work that way, cool good to know cause most ground defences are horribly placed facing areas that would never see action or you'd meet a fast end before able to use because of flanking.

Yes they count towards your stats. They count in K/D ratio, kits, and for badges.

And it still works. Just got my veteran air defence commanding in an AA turret with arty. Also my kill streak, 40, was commanding.

I can tell you 100%, from personal experiance, and as recently as two days ago, that they DO count for all stats.

Arty kills add to your kits and vechiles. That's it. Yes, it also works for KIT badges. Arty kills work towards your K : D ratio. 99.
