Hi, i like mods for FPS games but ones that require me to change a bunch of files around in order to go from mod to standard are annoying. Hows it work for BF2? and are there some mods that can screw up BF2 to where id have to re-install?

Re: The ease of using mods?
BF2 its self acts like a mod.
The structure of the game it like so.
-BFEngine-
------------
--BF2
--PRMM(mod)
--USI(mod)
--more mods
--more mods
The mods all have there own directory so they never interfier with any other mod or BF2.
as for how to install and run I know that Project Reality is just download -> install -> click PRMM .exe -

Eden speaks the truth, its really simple. You can basicly say that installing a mod is like installing a separate game.Originally posted by Sir. EdenBF2 its self acts like a mod.
I tried the following mods so far, and they all had separate instllation / links / unistall. Things only get complicated sometimes when modders release patches/hotfixes.
