Sometimes Admins make mistakes

As an admin I would like to submit a blanket apology to anyone who may get kicked by accident from our server.

An example of this happened last night. We had a guy who was bunnyhopping constantly and would not stop or leave. We are a realism server and he could have gone elsewhere and we asked him to. Well certain names prevent a player from being kicked by name by ingame admin so one of our admins tried to kick him by player number which unfortunatly kicked the wrong player...::sigh:: We were probable more devistated by this than the player who got accidently kicked.

We are a realism team and make no profit from our servers we do them as a service to the realsim community at large and want to make everyones gaming experiance there fun. So we strive to be a well admined server...

We as well as most admins admining their servers try to do a good job but sometimes mistakes happen.

Just rejoin and if we ever kick you by accident and we will apologize. You will know it was an accident if you didnt recieve 2 warnings first...

I can tell you this its a hard job to admin the BF2 server, the chat is almost impossible to check while playing(commanders and others are spamming with spotted enemy warnings) so teamkills and badlanguage is hard to control, unless you bail out of the game and watch what the kicker tells you in the log.
A mistake is easy done...sh_it happens.
To bad some players are not happy with any admin, screaming on forums how bad that server is where they are beeing kicked from.....Oh well

Kick the hoppers! I warn them atleast twice, and tell the rest to watch out for them. Most guys get kicked on the first violation, but i give them a chance then warn them.

i remember kicking a guy by accident once, he then rejoined and started mouthing off... i was DOOD! it was an ACCIDENT, ever heard of those? so he goes on to talk about the ROE and reporting us and talking trash...

well i can assure you that one of the bans on his account was NO accident... friggin tards. you just cant be civil anymore

yeh shiat happens , i do apoligize to whom it may happend to when he/she returns but if he starts smacking he gets 1 warning tho and then hell be on his way tbh .

Yea sometimes we do kick on accident then they come back in a curse which gets themselfs banned.

Agreed, i fill you pain bro on thew admin side of things. Admining a busy server can be stressfull. Sometimes innocent players do get kicked. It happens. We do all of this for other people to have a enjoyable game. Cause if you are admining, very hard for yourself to enjoy a game :laugh:

Jones, don't try to bs innocent bystanders. You IMO guys have a lon g way to go to adopt the title realism. You guys have been caught hopping around like fools and diving like hostages before the latest patch and I wouldn't be surprised if you guys still employ that gay $hit. Lets just say I was with one of the realism Units that is actually a true realism Unit and when we attempted to join the WFL, we wound up laughing ourselves to tears.

quick question ? why is it that often i will get moved by the admin to the losing team moments before the round ends , is this what the "no team switch " in the 1.3 patch addresses ?

I know who u are are you still with the 32 meu? and you know you flew off the nadle because you got owned. we checked the recording. no one was bunny hopping or dolfin diving and funny out of 4 clans in that monster game only 2 people who happened to be buddies complained. You didn't even wait for an investigation you just went off in public forums embarrassing your clan as winners and cursers and had no tact. in fact you accused one of our most realistic players that has never ever bunny hopped or dolfin dived, yes i watched the recording and his running to you and knifing you was funny ... don't try this crap here others know our real reputation u cant tarnish it

Okay wait, 32nd MEU? Never ****ing heard of a 32ndMEU within the BF2 community. So thats one strike dickweed. 2nd, the Unit I was with never scrimmed any of you IMO people; 2 strikes. 3rd, The scrim never happend because 2 of our guys played a couple of rounds with you guys against some random people and witnessed you doing retarded $hit like bunnyhopping, jihadi jeeping, ramming and we know the rest of the list. So umm yea, put down the honey dipped swisher and collect your thoughts. Maybe that'll help you refrain from looking like an ass in your next reply

Ok then if your not who I thought then you were never associated with the WFL and your staying anonamous is childish but I am not going to respond any further to you flaming my post because I don't want to degrade the sincerity of my apology. If you have a problem settle it on the battlefield not by cursing in post intended for another purpose. We deal with any of our members violating our code in an honest manner. My apologies to the totalbf community for having had to read this garbage. Sad some will goto no ends to disrupt an honest post.
