i have all the requirements for 1st sergeant, at least that this site says r required... but i have not been promaoted ..... i am a master sergeant with well over 20k global. i have tons of medals, all the basic badges ( some veteran ) that i need and more tons of ribbons but no promote? it says my next rank i 1st sergeant the bar is full i dont understand?

Did you get the badges required for First Sargeant before you became a master sargeant?

If not, yer boned.
Infact, yer boned anyway. You can't be promoted from Master to First Sargeant. The good news is the distinction is meaningless anyway.

absolutely ... had them well before. does that matter though?

what you get promoted to one or the other depending on what you've got when you get there? i remember i got the basic knife between 19k and 20k cause i knew i needed it but not sure cause i get like 50 points a round

Did You maked the rang in the weekend..?
If so it take's a lot off time
If not play a game and get one kill then you have it

You did not recieve all your badges before you hit 20K.

From there, the ranks fork into 2 directions, and you therefore took the Master Sargeant trail. You have NO way of getting First Sargeant.

As long as you have the right badges, you can get the (slightly) cooler ranks at 50k.

The possibilities at 50k are the same, whether you're a Master Sergeant or a First Sergeant when you get there... If you have all the basic vehicle badges, you'll get Sergeant Major, if not, you'll get Master Gunnery Sergeant. Whichever one you get, when you get to 60,000 you'll get 2nd Lieutenant...
